Special Class dates available upon request for 2025

N O T E : --- New 2025 Colorado Laws for Concealed Handgun Permits require longer class time, and live fire shooting. Starting July 1, 2025 changes to the C.R.S. require a minimum of an 8 hour class including a 50 round live fire shooting test. Current lesser classes will continue to issue a certificate for your CHP, however will not be valid for the standard 10 years, and will  not qualify for normal renewal. Lesser class certificates issued now must be submitted for CHP prior to 90 days before July 1, 2025. All current CHP's will be grandfathered in on July 1, 2025 regardless of the class taken...........according to the information received from a local Sheriff's department.

# 1 - Firearms Safety, Concealed Handgun Permit Class(new 2025) - $175

Minimum 8 hour class and requires Live Fire, per State Law.

Class will cover information for concealed carry. You must be at least 21 years old. There is shooting required in this class. After successfully completing this class you will receive an official certificate of training that meets Colorado Revised Statutes for your concealed handgun permit. Students will take a written exam at the end of this class.

Only properly registered students allowed in class; family, friends, children, and guests will not be admitted to watch or attend.

You must preregister for this class in advance:

Preregister at https://citizen-1.com/contact. Registration closes 24 hours before the class. You MUST use your FULL name exactly as it appears on your driver’s license, and complete address as it appears on your driver’s license. This exact information is needed for the Certificate, incorrect info will get your permit denied at the county. There may be an additional charge of $25 to reissue a corrected certificate if the original information provided was not correct.

Things you need to bring to class:

- Your current Drivers License

- Cash for class payment.

- A handgun and a minimum of 50 rounds.

- Beverage and snack for yourself, if you want.

#2 - Gun Safety & Basic Concealed Handgun for Permit - certified**-- $125

approximately 2 hours  

There is NO Live Fire in this class.

This course presents gun safety, carrying and using a concealed handgun. This course meets the Colorado requirement to apply for a Concealed Handgun Permit(CHP). Students who successfully complete this class will receive a certificate that can be used for the CHP application. Shooting experience is strongly suggested before taking this class.

- Cash for class payment

- Beverage and snack for yourself, if you want.

#3 - Gun Safety & Concealed Handgun for Permit - certified**-- $150

approximately 4 hours  

There is NO Live Fire in this class.

This class will cover;  Safety & Responsibility, Ammunition, Storage, Child Safety, Transporting, Carrying, Safe Handling, Legal Responsibility, Mental Awareness, Laws for CCW & Use of Deadly Force, and Reciprocity.

- Beverage and snack for yourself, if you want.

#4 - NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting and Gun Safety, live shooting required - certified**

 ------starting at $199

approximately 8 hours

This is the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting course. This course is more detailed and involved than the Introduction or Basics of Pistol Shooting courses, and will present intermediate shooting techniques and skills, selection and use. Live fire is required for this course.

#5 - Enhanced CCW Class, qualifies for Permit, live shooting required - certified**

------starting at $350

Prerequisite of a prior pistol class preferred, but not required.

approximately 16 hours over 2 days(depending on lessons offered)

This course presents a more advanced and tactical approach than the CHP course in the areas of using a concealed handgun. Students will learn options for concealed carry, and techniques to draw and shoot from a concealed carry position.

#6- Live Fire or Shooting Range Assistance and Coaching

------starting at $75*** plus range fee

We will go to the range with you, evaluate, coach, and present improvements to your shooting, or just be there for support. If you are new to a shooting range, we will walk you through the entire process from beginning to end.
